LION TRAVEL × The Town Studio
Shanlan EMU500 Collaboration

山嵐號.png

From the lush valley to the moving train,
The Town Studio invites travelers to taste the sweetness of the journey.

Bringing the flavors of Yuli to the Shanlan EMU500,
The Town Studio joins hands with Lion Travel to present handcrafted desserts inspired by the land and seasons of the East Longitudinal Valley.
Each treat is more than a dessert—it’s a heartfelt greeting from the valley itself.

The Shanlan EMU500, sister train to the Haifeng,

is the first sightseeing train to journey through the breathtaking East Longitudinal Valley.
Its refreshing yellow-green exterior echoes the vivid colors of the valley,

while deep forest tones inside create a calm and comforting atmosphere.

Upon boarding, passengers are greeted by the soothing scent of sandalwood and patchouli.
The ceiling lights gently shift in harmony with the music,

immersing travelers in a space where rhythm meets tranquility.

While retaining the Haifeng’s signature panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows,
the Shanlan EMU500 introduces more face-to-face seating—perfect for friends sharing the journey.

Travel × Dessert × Culture

Shanlan EMU500

Yuli Station|Rich in Nature and History

The railway buildings around Yuli preserve the charm of Japan’s colonial-era design. Visitors can explore landmarks like Xietian Temple and the old Shinto shrine ruins, ride along the Yuli Bikeway to enjoy pastoral views, or relax at Antong Hot Spring. Local flavors such as Yuli noodles, stinky tofu, and handcrafted goods reflect the town’s warm and genuine spirit.
